The department of Mathematics at the University of Bergen has an open
postdoctoral position. This four year position has a 25% teaching
duty, but it does not seem to be a requirement that the applicants
speak Scandinavian. The position is open to all fields of
mathematics, but the successful candidate must collaborate with one or
more of the research groups at the department. The algebraic topology
group currently consists of Shoham Shamir, Christian Schlichtkrull,
Bjorn Ian Dundas and Morten Brun.
Applicants must have presented the dissertation for assessment by the
closing date (December 15. 2010) for applications. It is a
prerequisite that the dissertation has been approved before
appointment is granted.
