Wayne State University will host the Fall Midwest Topology Seminar on

Homotopic descent and codescent
11:00-12:00 	Andrew Toms, Purdue University 	Ranks of operators and
the classification of C*-algebras
2:00-3:00 	Andrew Salch, Johns Hopkins University 	Some recent
developments in the stable homotopy groups of spheres
3:30-4:30 	Ralph Cohen, Stanford University 	String topology,
Calabi-Yau structures, and Koszul duality
