Workshop accouncement:

Young Women in Topology

Bonn, June 25-27, 2010

This is the first in a new series of weekend-long workshops aimed in
particular at female master and PhD students and postdocs in topology. The
meeting takes place at the Hausdorff Research Institute for Mathematics in

The workshop centers around a series of three lectures by Brooke Shipley
(University of Illinois at Chicago) on "Algebraic models for rational
equivariant stable homotopy theories". Shipley's lectures will be
complemented by shorter talks of the participants, a poster exhibition and
ample time for discussion. Further details will be posted in due time on
the webpage

The workshop is organized by the Graduiertenkolleg `Homotopy and
Cohomology' and funded by the DFG (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft).
Financial support for female participants is available. If you would like
to attend the workshop, or have further questions, please contact Mrs.
George at <GRK1150 at math.uni-bonn.de>.
